# What an analyst should extract from each job ad

1. **Stage and team size:** independently verified versus self-described; no assumptions about company funding.
2. **Decision bottleneck:** which key choices does the post discuss? hiring, sales repeatability, fundraise, runway, pricing, expansion?
3. **Evidence task:** whether candidate must model, interview, experiment, write a decision memo or persuade executives.
4. **Reporting line:** founder/CEO, CFO, board or portfolio lead; impacts independence and confidential access.
5. **Budget evidence:** disclosed actual salary range versus “competitive salary”; preserve base vs total pay.
6. **Operating burden:** on-site requirement, full-time scope and time-to-productivity.
7. **Alternative route:** could a short outside review clarify the need before an irreversible employment commitment?
